Conh Chowdah Corn Chowder

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 4 slices bacon, diced
  • 6 ears fresh corn
  • 2 quarts heavy whipping cream
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Remove corn kernels from the ears of corn.
  2. Saute bacon, onions, and corn in a medium pot until the onions are translucent and the bacon is crispy.
  3. Add the heavy cream. Heat through over medium low heat. Season with salt and pepper. Serve.
