Southern Pea & Pecan Slaw



"Simple and delicious, this slaw combines a variety of flavors and textures. Probably originated in Mississippi region... Louisiana and Arkansas are famous for their pecans."

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups Shredded Cabbage
  • 1 (10 ounce) package Frozen petite Peas, thawed and drained
  • 4 Green Onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Marzetti® Slaw Dressing
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon Curry powder
  • 1 cup Pecans

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In large bowl combine peas, cabbage and onions; set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, blend slaw dressing, mustard and curry powder. Mix dressing and vegetables with 1/2 cup pecans. Garnish with remaining pecans.
