Magnolia Cobb Club Recipe



"Layers of smoked bacon and turkey breast, sliced hard-boiled eggs, tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese are staked between three slices of bread to make a sandwich that is a meal."

Magnolia Cobb Club INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 avocado, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 9 slices SARA LEE® Soft and Smooth Whole Grain White Bread, toasted
  • 1 cup bacon ranch dressing
  • 2 cups lettuce, shredded
  • 6 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup bleu cheese crumbles (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 6 ounces Deli Honey Roasted and Smoked Turkey Breast
  • 6 slices thick-sliced smoked bacon, cooked

Magnolia Cobb Club DIRECTIONS:

  1. Place sliced avocados in dish and pour lemon juice over to preserve color; set aside. Toast bread. Let cool. Combine lettuce, green onions, bleu cheese, shredded Cheddar cheese and dressing.
  2. Layer 1/2 of the lettuce mixture on 3 slices of toast. Next, layer 3 slices tomatoes, followed by sliced eggs. Place second slice of toast on top of eggs. Layer remaining lettuce mixture on toast, top with turkey, avocado and bacon. Place last slice of toast on top of bacon. Secure sandwiches with toothpicks, slice in quarters.
