Non-Edible Cinnamon Dough

"Sweet-smelling Christmas tree cookie ornaments. They can be made to look like little gingerbread men."
Original recipe yield: 12 ornaments.

INGREDIENTS:
- 3/4 cup applesauce
- 4 ounces ground cinnamon

DIRECTIONS:
- Mix the applesauce and cinnamon to form a stiff dough. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thick. Cut with cookie cutters and make a hole for ribbon. Carefully place cookies on a rack to dry. Let air dry for several days, turning occasionally.
